"Laid Back to Lively - Perfect Party"
A review of Porky's Disco by Chris & James - Wednesday 23rd of August 2006
What a star DJ! Nothing was too much trouble for him, a very laid back guy playing a mix of party music and current requests. Produced a barn dance for a request then filled the dancefloor with some salsa ten munutes later.
Entertained the kids with some balloon models then later did the same for us big kids and all the time the music just made us want to dance the night away.
Porky is not your typical DJ, he's a bit porky, and a bit older than you would expect but he loves the music and is great with the kids, his banter is a bit sparse but he had us in stitches, "Robbie Williams, he's all right but he'll never be Jason Orange" and "Back when Jacko was Black and Tom Jones was white" not even funny, but the timing was impeccable.
We used him for a large marquee wedding and the sound was superb, at the end of the night we were all waving glowing wands to Neil Diamond, singing our hearts out... I HATE Neil Diamond!
Great Night, Great Fun and the best bit is, Porky is just SO chilled about it all
