"Buyer Beware!!!"

28/04/10 I purchased (15/04/10) an Ann Baylon suit for a wedding to take place in a few months time (July) unfortunatly the wedding has been cancelled. I 'phoned & asked if I could return the suit as I would never wear it,(26/04/10) and was told that I could only have a credit note; that the owner/manager would 'phone me back the next day I 'phoned back as no-one 'phoned me!
It was pointed out that there is a NO RETURNS POLICY and that this is on show in the shop. (Did not notice it nothing on the receipt!) and that I could not even have a credit note! I am astounded by this! I have in the past years spent a lot of money in this shop and would have continued to do so. I feel that while this policy is to the letter of the Law... (change of heart was given as a reason) the inflexibility of the management in this situation I feel is dreadful.
I will never shop here again and warn anyone else visiting the shop of their inflexible policy
